Facilitation
In theory
Business facilitation involves helping the parties involved in a project or negotiation to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.
In reality
You are dealing with two parties who want to achieve a common goal. Often the economic stakes, the lack of knowledge of the other party and often of their own business, create fear, suspicion and mistrust, with the result that the actions taken may run counter to the objective set.
In such cases, it is preferable to involve a neutral, experienced and empathetic third party who can translate the needs of the parties and find common ground on which to build synergy.
Achievements
I cannot (in the strictest confidence) name the projects that were doomed to failure. The pattern has been repeated many times. The solutions have been the same: openness, communication and coordination.
