We come from what we have experienced

One path, one philosophy

1999: I graduate in translation

1999 – 2019: I observe, I invest, I train, I experiment: I succeed – I fail – I start again – I improve

During this time I have worked in the legal, events, pharmaceutical, B2B sales and wellbeing sectors.

As a secretary, executive assistant, project manager, manager or freelancer. I’ve held a number of ‘pivotal’ and versatile positions. All in all, I’ve worked on or managed hundreds of projects (small, large, short, long, big and small budgets) and rubbed shoulders with an impressive number of people from different professions, nationalities and cultures. Excluding accounting, I’ve seen all the organisational and management aspects of running a business using a lean approach (i.e. improving efficiency by eliminating unprofitable activities). I wrote a dissertation on this in 2013, trying to show that this very ‘industry and production’ approach could be applied to administrative management.

At the same time, I trained in various personal development techniques: Sophrology, NVC and the Gordon Method.

2019: I start a career as a management consultant.

2020: COVID. I took a month off to learn website design and e-marketing techniques. Since then I’ve been in training and self-taught.

2023: I take over the management of BYNOM and complement my consultancy services with a coaching dimension.

In progress: Preparation of an e-learning programme focusing on the use of soft skills, mad skills and emotional intelligence in the workplace.

The philosophy

Work must be a source of fulfilment and not just a set of human activities organised and coordinated to produce what is useful, as defined by Petit Robert. It must be meaningful and reflect our values.

But our times are paradoxical. We have at our disposal affordable and powerful tools to communicate, to make our work easier and more profitable, while at the same time there is so much dysfunction, burn-out, bore-out and brown-out.

In my experience, when we use the right tools and work in line with our values to achieve our purpose, we’re not just useful. We get satisfaction. When you think about the amount of time you spend at work in a lifetime, you’d better feel good about it.

This is the vision I pass on through my coaching.
